First annual Community Cup in Windsor

August 25th, 2012 will mark the first annual Community Cup in Windsor, a free multicultural community celebration of sports, citizenship and the arts. This will be one of Windsor's most community engaging events, the Community Cup brings people together for a day in the park to celebrate welcoming communities.

The event is hosted by Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women whose mission is to assist immigrant and refugee women and their families to become full and participating members of Canadian Society.

Centered around the popular seven-on-seven recreational soccer tournament, where teams participate with a goal to make new friendships with our newcomers, the 1st Annual Community Cup is an action packed event that attracts visitors from all cultural communities with its multicultural, community-building activities.
